As the T.I.T.A.N. station is turned online it embarks from the Orbital stations manufacturing bay, but quickly begins acting strangely. Its course is changed from the colony on NovaTerra and instead begins heading lower into the planet's atmosphere. As the officers on the bridge work to regain control, the T.I.T.A.N. performs a planetary analysis of their home planet to find that it is a dying world devoid of resource and home to the parasitic human species. The T.I.T.A.N. station begins modifying its coded protocols as it descends to the surface, unleashing chaos in its wake. The repurposed war mechs that would embark with the station to NovaTerra as Colonization Support Mechs, or C.S.M.'s, were recoded by T.I.T.A.N. and released to seek and destroy the parasites. The planet was under siege.
