The Orbital station fired upon the planet's surface as they evacuated towards NovaTerra. The burning world illuminating behind them was all that was left of their pasts, and before them an overwhelming blackened void with an uncertain future. Could mankind in fact prevail? Were they to succeed, would their futures be any different than their pasts, or is mankind doomed to repeat itself? The survivors now bore the burden of all mankind.
